Kids' toys could be really expensive, then the moment you give it to a toddler, it takes only a few moments as well...to see if it doesn't make a world record for the time it takes to get that toy broken! Based on experience, only a few toys really make it far, only a few brands are worth the price. I can personally attest to the sturdiness and roughness of CAT or Caterpillar toys. See cool stuf at http://shopcaterpillar.com/ I believe these toys are
designed for tough and rough kids too, and surely well-built enough for hand-me-downs, like in may case, four sons to have all the fun out of it!

What my kids own is the one on the bottom right of the picture below, which is called the CAT Tough Tracks. My grade-schooler has played with it outdoors, then he eventually got tired of it, like most of his other toys. It's now the turn of his two little toddler brothers, who pack it up with small cars. It's big and they can stack little toys in it. They would spin it around, turn it upside down and roll the wheels, take turns sitting on it and racing around the house with each other, the other using their real ride-on car.
And the pick- up truck's surviving it!
I am yet to see my youngest son play along with them, he's now just a few months old, but I know in just little time he'll be joining the roughhouse, and this truck will still be part of it. For additional information, it's manufacturer is Toy State. This cool place for CAT products for grown-ups at http://shopcaterpillar.com/ is not limited to toys, but also include clothing, accessories, footwear, and exquisite scale models.
